Disaster: Maui Wildfires and Hurricane Dora

Today is a sad day in Hawai’i as last night we watched our beautiful Lahaina homes, businesses, and historic monuments be devastated by fires behind winds from Dora.

An emergency proclamation was declared and Maui residents, visitors, and first responders are tirelessly working to ensure that families are connecting and resources are being collected and distributed to those displaced.

We ask that our continental US partners with sites here remain vigilant and work with us to first ensure the safety of our customers and families.

The road to restoration and recovery will not be an easy one but we understand that recovery for the livelihood by all of us affected by the devastation will be need to be speedy and careful for all communities.

If you’d like to help, for now, the best option is the Maui Strong Fund, which provides community resilience with resources for disaster preparedness, response, and recovery. The fund is currently being used to support communities affected by the hashtag #Mauiwildfires.

You can support this fund by visiting: Maui Strong – Hawaii Community Foundation

Our prayers go out to families and citizens affected by this disaster and we thank those not here that have reached out and showed their love and concern.
